HARRISBURG – Residents of the 11th District who have or are serving in the military, as well as their families, are invited to Rep. Marci Mustello’s (R-Butler) Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 8.
This event seeks to connect military members, veterans and their families to the variety of services and programs available to them.
“I am hopeful that this luncheon is just a small way of showing you that we do appreciate what you have done and continue to do for us and that we are forever grateful,” said Mustello. “Supporting veterans and service members isn’t a political issue, and it’s something I feel everyone should stand behind.”
The event, to be held at the American Legion Post #778 in Lyndora, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. During that time, Mustello and her staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
Mustello asks that veterans who want to attend RSVP at RepMustello.com/events
or call her district office at 724-283-5852 or 855-282-0613 to confirm attendance.
“These men and women deserve to be thanked and appreciated every day, and we want to remind them that we serve as a local resource,” added Mustello.
